Isle of Wight County needed to communicate intricate growth management strategies, zoning policies, and environmental preservation plans to diverse audiences, from county supervisors and planning commissioners to residents and developers. We designed comprehensive planning documents including the five-year Comprehensive Plan revisions and the “Share the Isle” plan, translating technical content, land use scenarios, fiscal impact analyses, transportation studies, and environmental programs, into clear, navigable reports. Our design approach balanced the gravity of policy documents with accessibility, using thoughtful typography, maps, infographics, and organizational systems that help readers find and understand complex information.
We continue to design planning documents for the county as their growth management needs evolve.
